LindenGiving Cleans up St. Charles Park

LindenGiving, a community outreach endeavor, partnered with St. Charles Parks on Wednesday for a service project at DuSable Park and the Motorcycle Training Center. Volunteers from across campus gave their time to grounds clean up and trash collection to beautify the park space. In addition, volunteers painted three sheds on park grounds.

Art Students Create Dunkin’ Donuts Mural

This semester, two Lindenwood University students painted a mural in the St. Charles Dunkin’ Donuts located on S. Fifth Street. The piece showcases the history and beauty of Lindenwood and St. Charles while representing the supreme talent of Lindenwood’s art programs.

AACTE Selects Lindenwood for Consortium for Research-Based and Equitable Assessments

The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) has selected Lindenwood University to participate in the Consortium for Research-Based and Equitable Assessments (CREA). This new initiative, including 14 universities nationwide, will evaluate and recommend state policies in support of recruiting more diverse teacher candidates to the field and advancing equity best practices.

Psychology Professor Gives Keynote Address

Quentin Ortega Named Director of ITEN

Lindenwood University announced Quentin Ortega as the new Director of ITEN. Although new to the role, Ortega has been involved with ITEN for many years as an Entrepreneur in Residence.

Faculty Awards Recognize Deserving Educators

Lindenwood Student Government accepts nominations from students, and the LSG leadership selects one candidate for recognition. This year, John O’Hagan, associate professor of theatre, was recognized for going above and beyond.

Athletics, Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Academics, General

Lindenwood University has been awarded a grant from the NCAA that supports diversity, equity and inclusion in both its athletics administration and graduate academic programming. Led by the Lindenwood Athletics Department and Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship, the grant will support the addition of an NCAA Experiential Internship for Diverse Populations at Lindenwood.

Lindenwood University honored staff members on Thursday in a ceremony celebrating the extraordinary professional contributions of colleagues across campus. In addition to recognizing employees for their years of service and celebrating professional retirements, seven staff members received special recognition.
